Processes

At Netform, we specialize in flowforming, cold forming, and advanced CNC machining, using these processes we deliver light-weight , high-strength components for industries such as automotive, oil and gas, and agriculture.

Cold Forming

Cold forming, also known as cold forging or coining, is a precision press-based forging process where a metal workpiece is shaped at or near room temperature. With the use of a carefully designed metal preform, specialized tooling, and high-tonnage mechanical presses, unique and high-strength components can be produced with exceptional efficiency.

Flowforming

Flowforming is a cold forming process in which a set of roller tools apply pressure to a rotating workpiece pressed over a mandrel tool to form a symmetrical part. The rollers deform the preform, forcing it against the tool (also known as a mandrel), axially lengthening and radially thinning the material.
