NETFORM and Vickers recently opened our doors to industry partners, customers, and community leaders for an exciting Open House event celebrating the expansion of our Shelby Township facility.

The centerpiece of the event was the unveiling of our new flexible manufacturing cell. This fully integrated system is built to meet the evolving demands of modern manufacturing, blending speed, precision, and adaptability. At its core, the cell features a brand-new two-roller vertical WF flowforming machine, designed for high-strength, high-precision component forming. This advanced forming technology enables us to create complex geometries with improved material efficiency and part integrity.

To complement this equipment, we’ve integrated FANUC CRX collaborative robots (cobots) into the cell. These next-generation robots offer the highest standards in flexibility and safety. Unlike traditional industrial robots, FANUC CRX cobots are designed to work safely alongside human operators without the need for protective cages. Their intuitive programming interface and lightweight design make them exceptionally easy to deploy and adapt for a variety of production tasks, from material handling to inspection. This human-machine collaboration boosts efficiency while maintaining a safe and ergonomic work environment.

Our Open House also featured a vibrant showcase of partner technologies. Among our guests were representatives from A2Mac1, a global leader in automotive benchmarking and teardown analysis. A2Mac1 demonstrated how their data-driven insights help manufacturers innovate smarter, reduce time to market, and stay competitive by decoding and comparing vehicle architectures, components, and technologies.

We are proud of the growing capabilities within our facility and grateful to all who attended. Events like this reflect the spirit of collaboration and innovation that define NETFORM and Vickers. Whether you’re looking for a precision manufacturing partner or want to explore advanced forming and automation technologies, our doors are open.

We thank our industry partners and supporters, especially A2Mac1 and TRUMPF, for making this event a success.
